Crisfield, MD

Last year, an utterly impotent Crisfield City Council by simple majority could have voted to compel the city to continue providing water -- after I complained that the city treasurer attempted to levy an outrageous, unaffordable lump sum $5,500 connection fee upon me. But the council over run as it is with bumbling, stumbling and compromised Negroes craving adoration, affection, and affirmation from whitey, too busy slopping greedily at the trough of supremacy, could barely summon the energy to lift their nappy heads; thick, greasy lips; and, stained clerical collars, dripping with Massa’s scraps, long enough to address the inequity.    Fat, sleek, and well fed at the expense of conscious black folk, who are much leaner through deprivation. The naïve souls who elected these ineffectual apparatchiks to the council with the hope that they would represent our interests in a hostile Republican stronghold had finally had enough. In my case, these pet Negroes permitte...

Applied Anthropologics, P.C.

Applied Anthropologics, Incorporated ™ is a M/W/D/BE and applied laboratory for social and behavioral sciences. We provides expert psychocultural analysis and professional counseling. We believe 'self-discovery remains a hidden fount of strength and vast reserve of possibilities that we explore through the skillful application of cutting-edge, evidence based, data driven, and person-centered, social and behavioral science data generally, and ethnography particularly, to make unconscious thoughts, processes, impulses and motivations, conscious.' "Ethnography is a type of social research involving the examination of the behaviour of the participants in a given social situation and understanding the group members' own interpretation of such behaviour."

Linkedin

Linkedin is a professional social networking platform that is usually considered sacrosanct: a safe haven, typically off-limits for discussions of a political, religious, or social nature, which can lead to recriminations, declinations, or even disciplinary actions, for members posting objectionable, provocative, or antagonistic content. The fact that so many members have chosen to not merely dip in their big toe, but take a deep dive into the issues surrounding the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis on Memorial's Day (ironically a day when newly freed slaves, dug up the remains of Union soldiers killed in action, that the Confederates buried unceremoniously in mass graves, and properly reburied in marked - if unnamed graves - in gratitude for the Union soldiers having fought for their freedom) demonstrate that the fragile facade of civility has been irreparably ripped off the social contract. People are boldly and publicly taking sides – unconcerned about the conseque...

Accommodationalists

Accommodationists [Negroes] are as bad if not worse than white Liberals. These compromised blacks see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil; or, realize any dichotomy accommodating white supremacy (no moral ambiguity or contradictions in how institutional racism plays out perniciously on the broader African American community). They personally benefit from being good boys and girls (no self-respecting person would chemically bleach their skin or straighten their 'locs; looking ridiculous with unnatural, pastel-colored hair, to meet some impossible, implausible Eurocentric standard of beauty... They slavishly crave adoration, affection, and affirmation ("you're different from the rest...") from whitey. And they greedily slop at the trough of white supremacy, raising their nappy (or "processed") heads and thick, greasy lips dripping with whitey's largesse, only long enough to gaze longingly, fondly at Massa who has allowed him or her access to urine, spitt...

Bernie Who?

Bernie Sanders is a counter-culture, anti-hero, masked as a grumpy, elderly flavor of the week for privileged, young white romantics. He grudgingly suspended his campaign last week after his latest (and final) presidential aspirations were u nceremoniously thwarted by South Carolina Democrats; a critical core constituency in the Democratic establishment; one whose political ascendancy threatens to supplant Iowa and New Hampshire's traditional moorings as reliable prognosticators for the Democratic presidential nomination. The black voters in SC pragmatically rallied around  an old skool liberal named Joe Biden in an unusual act of defiance and self-preservation, whose benign racism and notorious sexism enables him to facilely navigate diverse constituencies with competing interests, who they know can get s... done.  Implicit in the endorsement is the promise to maintain the Democratic status quo. Bernie does not work well with others. Biden does, however. He was a pariah in...

The latest saga in the misadventures of klueless the klown

Coronavirus has increased 647 percent since last week. Repugs responded with a half a trillion dollar payday for wealthy corporations. And chump now wants to reopen the markets ... What else can possibly go wrong in this classical comedy of errors?... if chump goes through with this disastrous shift (for the federal workforce although federal employees still have to follow state law) to reopen the government, it would be tantamount to a dereliction of duty - i.e., criminal ne glect - prosecutable as a crime against humanity, period. Barr should be advising against such a calamity. If he doesn't, chump, Barr and the rest of chump's complicit stooges should all be unceremoniously arrested, and hauled to court, like the Nazi war criminals during the 13 Nuremberg trials (if a single person dies when he goes through with this attempt to bolster his waning re-election campaign).

Trump The Corruptor

We've been making this argument since 2016. Chump the brain dead comic carnival barker isn't the disease, he's just the symptom ... Chump knew and exploited this dark underbelly of the body politic daring anyone to say anything while he double deals, cheats, lies, bullied, blusters and bumbles his way across the world stage. The current crop of elected officials cannot say anything because they have personally benefited from the corruption. And since chump has been in office, the systems that used to at least perpetuate the image of working have broken down altogether with racist, indolent bureaucrats outright refusing to do their jobs ... And I agree with another poster, if the country really knew how corrupt the government is, it would spur a mass uprising ...

A Faustian Choice

Democrats are in a tough situation. Align themselves with a Socialist Democrat with the winds in his sail, or allow a mediocre politico, who purchased a third (unlawful) mayoralty after terming out as mayor of NYC, to now buy the democratic nomination for president ...

Code Switching

One thing I have noted  among some in our community  is disdain for reason. It  stems from an anti-intellectual bend predicated on insecurity. We see evidence of this phenomenon when talking to or about smart (or just well read) brothers and sisters by saying they are "talking white..." "Educated" brothers and sisters frequently "code switch" to accommodate folks riding the short bus in life  😆 ...

quid pro quo

The real quid pro quo we ought to be discussing is the implicit if not explicit deal the Grand Oaf Party cut with chump to protect him at the cost of our democracy. It allows his treachery, double-dealing, and ineptitude so long as he signs off on their wish list of retrogressive laws and judges to enforce 'em ...

Trolls and Tropism

Negroes encouraging other uninformed Negroes not to vote is akin to the blind leading the blind Sitting out the caucuses (or not voting in the election) will have one of two possible consequences: one, it will degrade the necessary turnout to win an overwhelming popular vote that cannot be disputed by the antiquated Electoral College representative vote; and, two, will ensure four more years of this ignorant, treasonous, inept, fat, bloated bumbling fool ... I do not believe those sistas are representative of all sistas (who tried to save us from this nightmare in 2016) But I do believe they are being misquoted to shape a narrative that discourages wavering black folks from voting ... And this type of tropism ought to be widely condemned We aren't that silly or naive -- I hope ... We are "woke..." Edit or delete this

Biography ...

Dennis Shipman is currently Chief Ethnographer & Consulting Officer for Applied Anthropologics, Inc.. Dennis has an eclectic background punctuated by world travel that includes a brief stint with la Légion étrangère. He was born on New York’s Long Island. Dennis never graduated from high school. Westbury public school district issued him one of the state’s first “Letter of Completion.” Basically, it stated that he had completed 12 years of high school, but was deficient or, more accurately, short enough credit hours to be formally graduated. While living in Trenton, New Jersey, he was told by a Navy recruiter that his scores on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery [ASVTB] were so high he could easily pass his GED. One never to disappoint, he took the walk-in examination given at Mercer County Community College without any preparation and was granted a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) shortly thereafter by the New Jersey Department of Education. A true renaiss...

chump and the banana state

Donald John Trump has brutally ripped the façade of democracy off the body politic for the entire world to see. America has become a failed state; a banana republic, that no longer enjoys a moral imperative; one we once took for granted. It abandons its allies while embracing its enemies; imprisons minorities it wishes to control while discriminating against those it cannot. Elected officials buy their way into office while well-heeled criminals buy their way out of prison. And corporations are “similarly situated…” The final nail in the remains of our representative democracy was banged into the coffin by the total capitulation of the Senate. It cynically voted in unqualified judges to lifetime appointments on Article III courts; and, refused to vote bipartisan legislation by the lower house into law; or, hold 45 accountable for his treachery. We no longer live in a free, open, and fair society -- if ever we did. And we can thank 45 and his henchmen for savagely disabusing us of th...
